UPDATED: JUN 20, 2019 September 13, 2018 - at The Pineapple - on handpull cask. Deep ruby-black with a decent tan head. Smells like vanilla and light roast - very little alcohol presence. Taste follows - classic dark dry mild, roasty, with vanilla added. Sweet, still, average body, quickish finish with the light vanilla in the linger actually adding to the experience.

@GBBF - dark beer with a chaotic foam left; loads of vanilla, hints of cacao; thin-bodied, light mineral; light sweet and earthy; very long notes of vanilla and chocolate in the finish

BeardedAvenger (2623) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - APR 24, 2018
Cask at Kings Head, Waterloo. Low key choc aroma with a sour edge. Dark brow with red tints. Blotchy if creamy beige head. Low key sour chocolate. Thin. Light. Soft carbonation. Abrupt finish. Been on a while? Unassuming and sourness that's not good.

Dbcwi88 (339) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2018
Very dark brown. Hint of vanilla, smokiness smell. Taste is earthy, oak, small hint of vanilla sweetness. Interesting and something a bit different from a modern brewery

thejackpacker (1416) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - DEC 1, 2017
CASK at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. An ok mild ale, little aroma but gorgeous dark ruby colour. Finish was nutty and Smokey. Something odd in there (pollen of flowers) rather than vanilla.

TEJA (4207) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 28, 2017
Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Big and semi lasting beige head. Mild roasted aroma and a small chocolate touch but no vanilla. The taste have both chocolate and light roasted malts with just a hint of vanilla and also a litle metallic. Medium to full body.

imdownthepub (18085) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 6, 2017
Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival ’17. Chestnut with cream head. There is a sweet chocolate character to this, some lactose milkiness, some malted bitterness. The sweetness lingers with a late vanilla note. It’s okay.

redders1974 (2381) - Rochdale, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - DEC 11, 2016
Milk chocolate on the nose and taste dark red with thin head so so mild ale

leaparsons (11971) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2016
Bottle, Wine Tavern, Leicester. Dark brown with an off white head. Chocolate and dark toffee with berries. Medicinal. Hints of cola. Vanilla extract. Earthy and dusty. Vegetable notes. A bit messy.

omhper (28674) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 15, 2016
Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Deep copper colour. Faint vanilla aroma. Mid sweet with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and growing vanilla. Low bitterness. The vanilla is completely out of place.
