Des bocks parisiens aux Pale Ales houblonnées venues plus tard d’Angleterre, notre IPA rend hommage à la brasserie « la Chapelloise » qui était installée rue Ernestine. Un siècle d’histoire et d’industrie que vous découvrirez peut-être en flânant par ici et que nous célébrons avec cette bière amère, mais pas seulement…

Arômes : fruits exotiques et pamplemousse. Houblonnage à cru : Chinook / Centennial / Colombus
Saveurs : notes de biscuit et de caramel pour cette bière au corps malté et à la bouche soyeuse et épicée. Saveurs de houblons frais, résineux et fruités. Longue amertume en finale. Une IPA puissante qui nous rappelle que l’Angleterre n’est pas loin de la Goutte d’Or.
Accords : cuisine indienne, africaine (épicée), pizzas, fromages affinés.
Température de dégustation : 7°C

August 2017 - Bottle share at Chriso's Pre-GBBF Shindig. Thanks! As 'Goutte d'Or Ernestine'. Amber orange, translucent, sparkling, dense foamy off-white head. Aroma is dusty, dried mint. Body is frothy with soft to tingly carbonation. Taste has some caramel sweetness, flint and stones, minty-pine notes, dry finish. Good. (6-4-7-4-15=3.6)

UPDATED: MAY 6, 2017 Arômes herbeux de houblon. Mousse blanche abondante légèrement collante. Robe cuivrée trouble. En bouche, peu goûteux pour le style et le pourcentage, mais beaucoup de corps et bien équilibrée. Amertume modérée.

330 ml bottle. We purchased at the brewery. The IPA poured a hazy Amber color with a huge frothy head ans lacing. The frothy head filled the glass. The aroma of pine and floral hops. The ale has. A medium body with above average carbonation. The finish is dry with lingering bitterness as an aftertaste.

Bottle. Cloudy dark golden body with white head Aroma is frui, citrus with some malts. Taste is malty fruity with hints of pines and herbs. Aftertaste is nice bitter balanced by some malty sweetness. Nice one.
