colui72 (3378) - Yuen Long, HONG KONG - SEP 7, 2021
UPDATED: SEP 7, 2021 Beautiful aroma of dark cherries and Danish Cherry Wine, minor funk notes emerge through the fruit. Dark ruby red, like old blood, shocking pink head, small and with low retention. No lacing. Tart, both from spontaneous fermentation and from the cherries, Frederiksdal cherry dominates the scene and so 'vinen af Kiersebær', which I know it's made of cherries, but it's what more closely resemble. Low acidity, which makes it extremely enjoyable. Thick body, medium-low carbonation, alcohol well hidden. A majestic cherry wild ale, without harsh acidity and extremely smooth and enjoyable. Just a bit of astringency, but it's nothing. Excellent ale!

imdownthepub (21959) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2021
UPDATED: JUN 10, 2021 Draught at The Brewdog Bar, Oxford St. Clements. Black with cherry hue and pink head. Hopefully I have this in the right place, Mikkeller beers have become so complicated. The aroma is of sweet cherries but the flavour is more tangy than that. There is a Black Forest Gateaux vibe going on and also a light tartness. Very pleasant.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2021 0.375 l bottle with a plastic champagne cork (2021). Dark red (like a red wine), with a minimal pink head. Deep cherry with some cinnamon flavours. Don't know why - maybe it's the oak agening. Better than expected - really great.
