COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an awesome collaboration with Mikkeller and Hill Farmstead. It will mess with your mind as an IPA designed to mimic Limoncello. A slightly sour mash, combined with Lactose for sweetness, tonnes of lemon Zest and hopped to death with Sorachi Ace and Citra. Bottle, cask and keg.

Golden orange coloured beer with a medium-lasting white head. Aroma of citrus and lemon. Flavor is lemon, sweet citrus, hops and some grass notes. Sour finish. Medium palate.

Thin off white head stayed on an opaque, finely carbonated light golden body. Bitter lemon, malt & grape aroma. Medium bodied, minimal carbonation & very dry & clean on the back. Massive puckering tastes of bitter lemon, spices, herbs along with a malt undercurrent.

From tap at Café De Koffer, Groningen. Aroma is strong zesty citrus with tart lemon, lime, citrus peel, wheaty grain, and soft fruity hops. Flavour is tart and a bit sourish with a mild bitterness. Body is medium. Heavy on the citrus, lots of lime, because of this the base IPA has a modest presence. Crisp and refreshing.

Thnx to bart. Pours blonde, medium white head. Smell is lemon. Taste is lemon, tad sweet even. Not much of the base is left, I cant really drink it as an IPA. It's a well drinkin beer tho !

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2018 Tap at Casc Aberdeen. Pours a thick, clear gold with a thin white lacing on the glass. Aromas have a huge vegitave quality like chopped spring onion. It's quite overpowering and difficult to ignore. Not appealing to me in a beer. Light lemony sherbet also. Beer feels fantastic on the palate. Smooth, soft, full body with a light prickle of carbonation. Taste is nice with a sharp, sour lemon that tastes real fresh. A dried herb bitterness balances the acidic fruit. You would have no idea of this beer's abv. A really drinkable fruit beer... As long as you don't sniff!

4/20/2014 12oz bottle poured into a Hill Farmstead pint glass. A~ dark copper orange with a slight head and no lacing. S~ straight lemon grass! slight pils malt characteristics and a little bit of caramel. T~ whoa! lemon bomb! i’m surprised there wasn’t actual lemon grass used in this cause thats exactly what it tastes like. must just be the lemon zest/juice playing with the hops. other than that really nice tart presence and super well balanced for the high gravity. M~ extremely smooth, puckering and refreshing! seriously like no other! O~ super solid! i could drink this all summer, all day long and get completely wrecked! isn’t that always the plan? haha i love brews that incorporate a lot of lemon, kind of reminds me of the Widmer Brothers Lemongrass Wheat. definitely worth a shot, but not for everybody for sure. i hope this makes it to the states in bottles!
