Thought I rated this before, but anyways, more than enough times I poured this into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was obviously a brown color, fairly dark with a tan eggshell white foamy head. Minimal light lacing. The aroma centers around some sweet coconut rubbing over some light toasty to roasty warm nuts, light pecans, some toffee and caramel malts. The flavor balances nicely between all of those previously mentioned aromas and let’s in some chocolate. Light combined aftertaste leading into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. Wet smooth rich and creamy texture. Overall, nice brown ale with coconut added. I would love to have again.

Bottle at home. Medium brown with a small light brown head. Aroma medium malty (roasted, notes of chocolate, heavy coconut). Flavor medium sweet, light chocolate, medium coconut. Medium body, a bit greasy, light carbonated.

First of all I’m a huge Fan of Kona brews but this is definitely not my thing. The coconut ia blunt and very intrusive. Some roasted malts and Overall lovely brown color. However the nasty Cocktailish coconut flavours linger make it very unpleasent for me...

Coconut is subtle, but I wish it had more influence over the taste of this brown ale.

0,33l Flasche auf Hawaii. Irrer Duft. Kokosnussöl, kakao, Vanille, Röstmalz. Dunkelbraune Farbe, wenig Schaum. Im Antrunk röstig bitter. Dann kommt die geröstete Kokosnuss. Leicht ölige Konsistenz. Eines meiner ungewöhnlichsten Biere!

Well, the coconut was interesting, I liked it brought something different to the table. Definitley a seasonal I would buy again

Not the best experiment with coconut and beer. The taste and aroma are clearly come from coconut(what else). Foam, body and sense is of a low quality. Maybe a good combination for your Bounty chocolate.

Medium brown with a good pale head. Aroma is chocolate, dates, malt, coconut. Medium-full bodied, creamy mouthfeel, sweet and malty on the palate with a short sweet finish. Flavours are chocolate, coconut, dates.

Really unique beer the hint of coconut (even though I don’t care for coconut) is really refreshing and does wonders for the palate. really a good beer and the quality of the ingratiates does show. Hats off to the 50th state on a well crafted brew.
