UPDATED: DEC 20, 2019 Piana średniej wielkości i średnio pęcherzykowata. Długo się utrzymuje. Barwa ciemno mahoniowa, zamglona. W aromacie kawa i karmel. W smaku kawa i paloność, słodkie, pełne. Z rozgrzewającym finiszem. Delikatna goryczka GregMooreNH (3064) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 20, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 20, 2019 Pours clear, dark mahogany with a two finger, tan head. Aroma is molasses and roast. Taste is candy sugar and light raisin, moving to roast. Finish is candy sugar. Too sweet for a good Baltic porter. 17Beer (983) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 19, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 19, 2019 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a dark nut brown with tan head of micro bubbles. Scents of dried fruit and malt. Nutty raisiny flavors and alcohol overtones don’t dominate. Well balanced. Really nice. pdog555 (912) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 22, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2019 Pours dark, clear brown with a thin brown head. Aroma of nutty chocolate. Taste has a creamy mouthfeel along with intense roasted malt notes. Palate includes nutty notes that linger on the nose as well as a nice smokey finish. foyle (585) - North Carolina, USA - DEC 21, 2018

500 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with light head. Aromas of aromas of almonds, chalks, woody chocolate, and roasted malts. Flavors of sweet chocolate, praline, nougat, and dry roasted malts. Slick. Nice. AirForceHops (10658) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 14, 2018
500 ml bottle. Since when is a porter Amber in color??? This is amber. Aroma shows mild toffee, toasted grain. Bread hints. Kind of a strong dark Amber lager. Kind of thin bodied. Not bad if you tell yourself it is not a porter. Chalumeaux (2500) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 14, 2018
Poured from bottle thanks Stacey brownish black tan head. Aroma is light roasted malt caramel yeast. Taste follows more like an amber lager than a porter. HourGlass13 (1856) - North Carolina, USA - OCT 7, 2018
Pitch black colored pour, with a thin tan head. Aroma is dark malts, something like burnt bark and a pancake syrup like sweetness. Quite sweet tasting with a big malty body. Flavor profile is licorice, burnt sugar and jelly beans, with molasses. This is certainly interesting, but very good. eRock_2013 (644) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 29, 2018
Given that it's a rarer find, I always pick up a Polish-made Baltic Porter when I see one, and this one does not disappoint, although that being said I found it overall not as enjoyable as other examples of the style. From the bottle into a snifter, this poured a faintly reddish brown-black color with a small top of khaki foam, not as intense black as others and not completely opaque, surprising given its assertive name. Aroma of dry chocolate and licorice, with raisin and cherry fruit notes. Flavor follows with licorice-accented roasted malts and a cocoa sweetness. There's a slight boozy hint in the aroma and taste as well. No coffee notes that I could discern. Relatively light and thin on the palate but with a rounded mouthfeel. Overall this brew is good but not great, with fairly complex flavors but not as rich and textured as my personal favorite Zywiec Baltic Porter.
