UPDATED: FEB 4, 2023 Bottled. Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted coffee, some grapefruits, mild roasted malts, some liquorice with mild tropical fruity elements. Flavour has tropical fruits, liquorice, some grapefruits, roasted coffee, mild ashy tones with some floral tones too. Hides the alcohol well, and is actually in a nice balance hiding most of the black malty elements.

Turboninja (2423) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 7, 2022
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2022 Medium/Strong averagely balanced nuances of dark coffee, roasted dry malts, some dark chocolate and a hint of pepper. Medium taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with dry dark chocolate. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, stylish though too dry. Also could have more nuances for the percentage. 7 4 7 4 16

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2022 Great (very) dark IPA. My first ever salty coffee imperial IPA - but definitely not the last one. Teases the eyes with the look of a stout. Fine dark body and small but long lasting crown. Great balance of flavor. Nice beer.

TorbenJensen (2044) - Valby, DENMARK - JUL 10, 2022
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2022 Beautiful nougat-colored foam and a nice aroma of hard-roasted malt and good coffee. The taste is dominated at the beginning by good espresso coffee, but slowly a taste of hard-roasted malt creeps in and contributes with slightly burnt notes with pleasant dark caramel as a side dish. Coffee is the main theme, but also a little dark bitter chocolate mixes in the aftertaste along with a little balancing bitterness where pine needles can be felt. It is quite excellent black IPA which I found good as an aperitif after a good dinner.
