COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made in the tradition of German style wheat beers, which are famous for their distinct clove, vanilla, and banana aromas. Our Bavarian yeast strain contributes these signature characteristics to a beer that is light, tangy, and refreshing. Enjoy it with a slice of lemon, as is customary in southern Germany.

On tap at Wonder Street. Served in a shaker pint. Clear golden color (not cloudy). Thin head fades quickly. OK flavors and body, but not very true to the style.

Draft sample at the Reno airport from notes. Pours a hazy yellow gold color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, banana and cloves, some citrus, doughy, watery mouthfeel, meh.

On tap @ Silver Peak. Slightly hazed orange pour with a white head. Banana and an overwhelming spice nose. A sour lime and coriander mix. No thanks. Some clove in there as well. The flavor is heavy on white pepper, coriander, and clove. Astringent lemon peel finish. A lot of banana and bread sweetness as well. Just all over the place. Comes with a lemon, so negative cred to begin with.

"like anyone’s hefe, it can be refreshing on the right day, but it’s another standard, uninspired entry into the category. a little watery, decent malty sweetness and a slightly spicy banana-clove finish."

Cybercat (5834) - Georgia, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Pours a nice hazy golden, typical of a hefe but still attractive. Strong wheaty and lemony aroma has a hint of yeast. Refreshing wheaty flavor has a lively, tingly texture. Body is average but the tingle persists. Perfect for a sweltering summer day.

[Tap] Pours a very light yellow color with a nice cap of head and a slight haze to it. Wheat grains, lemon and clove in the nose. Spicy flavor features clove and some nutmeg with lesser amounts of banana and bubblegum. Sweet and yeasty finish. Decent body for an American example of the style. Lively carbonation. This was a pretty good beer.
