Cask conditioned at The Wellington, Birmingham. Gold with white head. Get in there, woohoo. Full on grapefruit notes mingled with bitter lemon, pithy, bright, loads of hoppy aromas. Refreshing bitterness to the finish. An absolute belter. cgarvieuk (32945) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 25, 2013

Cask at The Wellington - Birmingham during the RateBeer Black Country Bus Bash. This was, I think, the last beer of the day. I was pretty shattered by that point but I still could have gone on drinking pints of this stuff. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Crisp and dry citrus dominates the character, with notes of orange, grapefruit and light, dry minerals. A bit of pee, too. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Perfect condition. Very dry to finish with boat loads of citrus, notably lemon, orange and grapefruit. Absolutely gorgeous. Even after 13 hours of continuous beer drinking, I wish I had time to drink more of this beer. Stunning. Brigadier (4490) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 10, 2013

This was my first go to beer on a board full of wonderful sounding choices. It did not disappoint and proves once again that Oakham is a brand worth trying as many times as possible on a trip to the UK.
Aroma / Appearance - The golden base is semitransparent with wisps of head. Fresh lemon crisps, honey, and almonds are delicate but pleasant. A base foundation of roses in early bloom gives it a nice edge.
Flavor / Palate - The creamy mouthfeel is smooth with a bright sensation of hops after a few seconds. Bitter lemon cheesecake hangs in the back of the throat. Without being overbearing it leaves a nice mark. This is another fine release from Oakham.
Cask at the wellington brum. RB Black Country bash Yellow, loose white head.Citrus lemony drizzle cake aroma. Crisp clean malt and fantastic palate.

Black Country Beano. Cask at the Wellington. Light haze on this gold beer. Little white head. Light floral hops. Semi sweet pine. Orange and a little pith. Finishes fresh, light, dry and minerally with stronger orange pith and peel. Nice beer but I wasn’t blown away as many were.
Cask at the Wellington, Brummingham, end of the RB Black Country pub crawl 06/07/13.
Clear pale golden with a thin white head that dissipates edgeward.
Nose is orange sherbet, hops, light toasty malt, hint of grapefruit.
Taste comprises citrus, hops, light pine, mineral notes, sticky hop resin, juicy tropical light.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp and clean in the execution.
Quality golden blondeness - Oakham must push my average way up for this style! DanielBrown (4668) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 9, 2013
Cask at Wellington, Birmingham, during RB Black Country Crawl. This was just as I expected: biting, clean, zinging citric hops. Very easy to swig and flavoured some (flavoursome). Claw hammer. tommann (5565) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 7, 2013

Cask at Wellington: bright golden amber pour with white head, big amount of piney and citra hop aroma, aroma translates into to taste sweet but not heavy, earthy, pineapple, a touch of sweet caramel. Excellent beer.
