COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Four different malted barleys combine to create a distinctive, full-bodied beer with a roasted nuttiness, uniquely enhanced by a hint of hazelnuts. Smooth and creamy with the nose of the Willamette hop, this porter is a beer style unto itself.

Pours black with thin light tan head. Aroma is roast and hazelnut. Taste is light caramel. Moving to roast and hazelnut. Finish is roast. A decent stout.

Worth the try, but nothing really special here. Tasted like possibly some vanilla in there...not as hazelnutty as I thought it would be, which is OK cause I'm not a big fan of overwhelming hazel. A thinner porter, more on the medium-dark brown side versus near black appearance. Pretty much an average overall beer.

On tap at Federal Jack's. It poured a brown color with a tan head. The aroma was of coffee, nuts and vanilla. The taste was similar to the aroma with more coffee, nuts, vanilla with medium carbonation and a nice chewy aftertaste. Tasty.

From old tasting notes. Translucent reddish brown color topped by a rocky beige head. Interesting nutty malt aroma. Soft nutty malt flavor hints at English toffee and cappuccino. Tasty and drinkable.n

Some hazelnut, some roast. Not very well put together like knock off leggo. Pours bittersweet. Black pour with decent head. Tap at beer festival.

FROTHINGSLOSH (9574) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 27, 2017
Sampled on draft this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy beige head that left no lacing. The aroma was roasty, sourish and off with notes of cocoa and nut. The flavor was buttery, sourish and off with some nut and roasty malts. Medium length finish. Medium body. Not good.
