UPDATED: SEP 29, 2023 Red fruits aroma, watery body with light carbonation. Taste is roasty and burnt with small hints of plums and cherries. The more you drink the better it gets.

FACambridge (1392) - Chelmsford, Essex, ENGLAND - SEP 18, 2023
UPDATED: SEP 18, 2023 (@L'Osteria,Berlin Memhardstraße) Aroma : Lightly roasted chocolate maltiness, hint of soft red fruits & brown sugar with a slightly dusty note.  Taste : Thinnish body, slightly watery texture. Moderately sweet with a touch of dry burnt dustiness. Highly malty, with low chocolate & brown sugar flavours. Has a slight metallic twang at the end. O.K. but not special

LazyPyro (7570) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 7, 2023
UPDATED: SEP 7, 2023 500ml bottle. Pitch black pour with a small lasting beige head. Aroma of caramel malts, chocolate, light roast. Taste is the same, slightly sweet and plenty of caramel malt, chocolate, light roast, hints of dark fruits, and a light bitter finish. Lovely example of the style.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2023 A bit light in flavor for me, especially malt and hops, for a lager (albeit a black lager).

Grumbo (18726) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JAN 10, 2023
UPDATED: FEB 4, 2023 10/1/2013. Tap at Farringdon Tap with Gus. Pours very dark brown with a creamy off-white to beige head. Nice roasted, chocolatey, dark fruit aroma. Quite enjoyed it to begin with but it had an odd sourness develop which wasn't so nice.
