COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fresh Cut is a dry-hopped pilsner. Chinook, Citra and Centennial hops provide aromas of citrus, grass and spice. Though the front palate is loud with IPA qualities, the finish is distinctly pilsner- crisp, dry and extremely refreshing. Enjoy!

ctipping (3019) - Florida, USA - JAN 19, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 19, 2020 On tap at Das Beer Garden. Clear yellow. Smells of light citrus and grassy hops. Doughy malt. Tastes the same. Citrus and grassy hops. Light bread and biscuit malt. Light bitterness. Easy drinking and light. The hops dominate it, but it's a nice pilsner overall.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2020 Portland, Maine, poured from a can. Clean, pure, effervescent sensations from start to finish. My current favorite afternoon beer. ABV is 4.6%, about the same as Founder's All-Day IPA, which I would consider to be this beer's cousin in the ale family. I'm not sure what qualifies this as a pilsner as opposed to a session IPL. Whatever it is, as a bitter and hoppy lager, I think this is excellent. It has fruity, juicy front notes and a long citrus-rind finish.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2019 On tap at Hops & Pie poured a clear yellow with a small lasting white head. Aromas if straw, light citrus and a hint of pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, light earthiness and a hint of citrus with a crisp dry lingering moderately bitter finish.

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2019 Clear bright golden with a foamy thick white cap. Nice grassy pale Lagery aroma. Mellow kinda earthy and grassy leafy flavor that has a weird hop tone throughout. Mild crisp bitterness. Would be refreshing if the hop flavor was a little less earthy and piney.

Ernest (8487) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 23, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 23, 2019 Can (BB Nov 4, 2019). Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), light notes of vegetables and plastic. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, very unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Hilariously optimistic BB date, since this is already a dull sample in July. Almost nothing happening in the nose, and shockingly dirty in the mouth; the horrid aftertaste literally made me wince on every sip (only could manage 3 or 4 before dumping it). Poor, to put it mildly.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2019 At Hungry Pigeon, clear gold with medium white head. Notes are Concord grape, grass, cracker, florals, and organic laggah. Usually don’t like peak but this is very nice. Organic is the only way

Jabah (2214) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - APR 5, 2019
UPDATED: APR 5, 2019 This is an aggressively hopped pilsner.....flavors and feel almost like a pale ale. Gives it some more character, as this style is hit or miss for me. Not super rusty, with some citrus and grassy flavors in there. Only bought a single and would probably be fine with that, but worth the try...especially in this super-hot spring/summer season.

tdc3 (0) - - MAR 7, 2019 does not count
UPDATED: MAR 7, 2019 Pours a bit hazy with the color being light golden and the head being about 1 finger. A bit of tart pineapple, peach and guava to nose with the taste being a sweet tropical taste upfront, which fades to a bitterness of pine notes on the finish. At the end of the day, it’s exactly like the name, Fresh Cut.

alobar (4661) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 3, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 3, 2019 Pours a clear golden yellow color with aroma of citrus, with floral notes and hints of grain. IPA-like flavors with citrus, floral notes and some bread. Very nice beer.
