Bricktop86 (1883) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 12, 2022
UPDATED: MAR 12, 2022 Nearly black with a thin ring of light brown head. Aroma is very chocolaty, coffee, caramel, cola, wood, and dark fruit. Taste is medium/heavy sweet and light/medium bitter.

hman43 (3805) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - FEB 26, 2022
UPDATED: FEB 26, 2022 It pours very dark brown with a tan head. Head retention is low. It has aromas of toffee, licorice, and caramel. There are some molasses qualities to it with like prunes. In addition there is a light bourbon and brandy note. It has a very rich maltiness to it that features strong toffee flavors with some licorice and caramel. The brandy is a bit stronger in the flavor than in the aroma with some prunes and dried cherries. The are light bourbon notes as well. It has a thick body with strong but pleasant alcohol warming. Overall, complex flavors and aromas make this a wonderful Baltic Porter.

sinfull (2888) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - JAN 9, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2022 Black color. One-finger thick, beige head. Milk chocolate, toasted malt brandy, wood, and some bourbon in the aroma. Extremely well-balanced taste: malty with just a touch of sweetness and gentle roasted bitterness at the and. Notes of brandy and wood in the warming finish.

tfontana (4075) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 24, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 24, 2021 Bottle (2018 vintage) pour from share with WillRunForBeer--thanks, Brian! It's an opaque black with nice sparkle, ephemeral ring of head and no lacing. Aroma is strong brandy and bourbon over sweet malts. Taste is strong brandy over bourbon dominating roasted malts. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, the brandy and bourbon is overwhelming and squelches the underlying base porter.

Unde (1935) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 4, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2021 Chocolatey malty notes with Bourbon & brandy. Weirdly no barrel tones, just some booze feel. Pretty good nonetheless. 2020 bottle.

Daboch (1329) - Gdansk, POLAND - MAR 28, 2020
Aromat ciemnych owoców, głównie wiśni i śliwek, czekolady i bourbonu. W smaku podobnie, dość słodko. Bdb bałtycki porter z kraju daleko od Bałtyku

alesnake22 (105) - Oviedo, SPAIN - MAR 10, 2020

PapaSkeetSkeet (1320) - Providence, Rhode Island, USA - JAN 24, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 24, 2020 On tap at Fortnight in downtown Providence, RI. Dark root-beer brown, bright/clear at the edges, medium-light brown, medium-fine head, moderate-fast rate of decay. Aroma is some milk chocolate with big berry fruit: some cherry, candy grape, some raspberry and blackberry. blackcurrant. pumpernickel bread, leather, touch of Worcestershire sauce, some vanilla and caramel (nice brandy-oak!). Body is medium-heavy, oily, medium-light, medium-fat carbonation, little burn. Flavor is slightly tart berry (blackberry, bit of cherry and black currant) chocolate bread... bit of vanilla and hint of toasted oak. *NOTE* I can't help but wonder if this keg is a bit unstable. This beer is definitely slightly tart. I'm not seeing much note of this in the reviews. I hope we got an accurate representation. It definitely comes off lighter than expected, and I wouldn't describe it as chewy :/

imperial_suchy (917) - Rybnik, POLAND - JAN 18, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 18, 2020 Piwo koloru ciemno- brazowego, praktycznie zero piany. W smaku ciemne owoce, nuty brandy i bourbona. Ciało w sumie średnie, adekwatne do stylu, wysycenie średnie do niskiego.
