COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In Denmark we are very fond of Christmas beers. In fact, most of December goes with drinking Christmas beers while chewing on fat duck, pork roast, red cabbage and herrings left in vinegar for months. Jule M?lk. Our so far strongest beer, bumped up to 15% ABV and loaded and loaded and loaded with lactose, just until it couldn?t get any more heavy. You could say this is the Foie Gras force-feeding edition of a beer. But then again, it is Christmas after all? Malts: Pale, Special B, Melanoidin, Chocolate, Smoked, Dark Crystal, Roasted Barley, Cassonade Sugar, Lactose Hops:Tettnanger, Tomohawk, Sorachi Ace

Juks (1106) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 6, 2017
Tap at BrewDog Tallinn. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma is very intensive, chocolatey, liquoricey, sweet. Taste is very sweet, chocolatey, overloads of lactose sugar, boozy. Full bodied, over average carbo not only for style but overally. Really sweet stout, sweetness covers alcohol somehow, but still boozy and I am not enjoying it.

(draught) black in colour with a surprisingly stable creamy dark beige head. aroma of brown sugar, soy sauce and cherry juice, with some notes of acetone, heavy earth, toasted malts and tobacco. flavour is mostly earth, roasted malts and deep caramel, very sweet, with some more tobacco, lots of booze, calvados and a light roasted-bitter finish. heavy-bodied with soft carbonation. could use more complexity.

On tap at Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours thick black, dark brown head. Nose is intense roast, chocolate, sweet almost like barrel notes, ash, lihht liquorice. Mouthfeel is thick and heavy, tastes strong roast, chocolate, coffee, sweet and heavy, warming. Solid and strong. Not as complex as nose.

Helt fantastisk - via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Absolutely a gem among Imperial Stouts. It's thick like oil and almost sends an aromatic cloud up of the bottle of espresso coffee and chocolate. The taste is rich and saturated with coffee, light chocolate, roasted malt, figs, raisins and dates. Smoke malt can be tasted, but dimmed by the lactose used to give it a creamy and delicious mouth fill. Very exciting and very tasty, but a little too hot for Christmas. Maybe like a nice end to a nice dinner.

Alluring vanilla licorice aroma in a jet black pour. Surprisingly laid back sweetness allows the rest of the beer to shine. Way smoother than expected - but with a tasty tang to provide interest.

butelka/tap house. spoko, tego się spodziewałem i się nie zawiodłem. wyklejająca słodycz, nuty palone, czekoladowe, słodkie jak cukier. alkohol przyjemnie grzeje. bardzo ok

Tap at Titans 1st Anniversary, September 9th, 2017. Pours dark, almost black with lots of beige or light brown foam for a head. Aroma is sweetish, some herbal thing going on, mountains of cocoa, some roast and bitter chocolate. Taste reveals that hops have been quite generously used, so luscious sturdy cocoa and milk chocolate body has been balanced with hop bitterness. So it drinks as imperial stout - but definitely to as 15% abv one, kind of dangerous. More of that herbal hop bitterness wrapping up the sweet chocolate body, nice one to sip.
