Draft at Monks. Hazy orange amber pour with sone soft white foam. Very interesting glossy plumy Goze. Nectarines. Donut peaches. Pluots. Green grapes. Passionfruit. Clementines. Guava. Full amber color with thick slight orangy foam that decays quickly. The smell is shy and not that noteworthy. The taste is insanely, but very wrong. Lactic acid competes with saltiness and a full creamy body that has some fruit notes. The result is very interesting but not that I would put this in my cellar. The mixture is wired. Fiery orange, puffy white head drops to oily ring, sticky lacing is thick. Jammy nose is super seedy, rhubarb with faintly dusty wheat. Lightly salty front, wheaty before the rhubarb hits mid, moderate acidity and low bitterness into the dusty, heavy dry finish, more salt and minerality from high co2. Too fruity in nose, flavor has more structure and traditional gose nuance.
Tap at Max’s. Pours clear orange with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is lemon zest, lactic acid, salt, and spicy wheat malt. Draft. Beaut orange pink color with a nice white head. Smell is tropical fruits. Heavy guava and mqnho. Taste is tropical. ACE zaft mixed with passion fruit and lime. Some mild wheat and mineral underneath. Sweet up front with a sticky but dry finish bit like a mild warhead candy. Fuckin awesome
