UPDATED: FEB 4, 2024 On tap at brewery in Dunham, Quebec. Pours hazy gold with a spritz of beige head and lacing. Aroma: jackfruit, pine. Flavor: pine, toast, faint banana and clove, black pepper. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied with a dry finish.

JoeMcPhee (12092) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 6, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 6, 2021 Very pale pour. Thick white head. Aroma throws a whiff of sulfur first before a bright zesty hop aroma. There's a little bit of grass and a touch of wheat before a citrus, spice and light tropical fruit hop aroma come up. As it warms, it become more peppery on the palate and more fragrant on the nose. Lovely and dry with a little bit of white pepper and citrus on the finish. Clean pilsner malt, crackers. Assertively bittered. Pretty tasty beer.

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2021 Bottle. Gold with a large white head that lasts (and laces) pretty well. Aroma of citrus syllabub (orange and lemon) crackery dough, hard spices (a little brackeny a little fresh cut pine, a little yeasty). Dryish with only slightly funky crackery dough, spices, bright summery citrus at the fairly bitter and rather dry end. Just my sort of thing.

ZayZay (499) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 3, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2021 Canette. Texture: corps mince, carbonation faible-moyenne, bonne buvabilité. Ressemble presqu'à une IPA.

northropfrye (4425) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 27, 2020
UPDATED: JUN 27, 2020 Cloudy yellow body, loads of white head and lacing, quite carbonous. Spritzy herbal floral aroma. Taste is bready, a bit of hops and funk. Not bad.

DeanF (10102) - New Westminster, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 8, 2020
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2020 Has very nice big foam on a soft yellow body, the aroma is all good chewy piney hops. Flavour is bright hops, strong yeast, some soft saison grains. Mouthfeel is dry and chalky. It's decent but rather straight ahead.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2019 Sunday, November 24, 2019. Bottle, 75cL. 6.5%. Purchase ('Strasbourg Biere Import', Stasbourg (67), FR). Home. Shared with my dad @Naintré. A sparkling yellow opaque beer with a huge white thick foamy head ; great retention ; good lacing. Fruits (citrus, lemon, lime, litchi?), light resin, herb+, peanut notes. Medium to sharp DRY fresh bitter, sweet note, acid note. Light to medium body, silky texture, average gaseous, bitter dry lasting finish. Overall, enjoyable, good ! Maybe too bitter in my opinion for this hoppy saison.
