UPDATED: JAN 12, 2021 Appearance: Pours clear pale ruby. Creamy salmon head, no lacing.
Aroma: Sour cherry, hawthorn, lemon, cream cake, lactic, vinegar and barnyard funk, with hints of metal and blood.
7/10 Mouthwatering tart red fruits and preserved plum with hints of vinegar and savory characters. Sharp acidity. Savory tart vinegary finish.
味道：令人口舌生津的酸爽红果和话梅，伴随着些许醋味和咸鲜味。尖锐的酸度。尾韵咸而酸， Medium bodied, soft carbonated.
Overall: Bottled 2019-07-10. Somewhat unpleasant smell upon openning but it doesn't matter. Typical syrup of plum on palate, just like a Bourgogne rouge without tannin.

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2020 Flaska systembolaget. Årgång18/19 batch 89. Ljusröd vätska. Syrlig doft av körsbär, fat, jordkällare, vinäger och citron. Liknande i smak. Otroligt komplex. Syrlig och murrig med tydliga drag av syrliga körsbär och dess kärnor. Alkoholstyrkan på över 9% känns inte alls PapaSkeetSkeet (1319) - Providence, Rhode Island, USA - AUG 13, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 13, 2020 Bottle (bottled in 2010, consumed in 2020). Pours a medium-light purple-brown, lightly cloudy, fizzy surface, but not really much head. Aroma is lightly jammy cherry. I got a hint of solvent, maybe acetone or gasoline, but it's very light and pleasant at this level. Tart cheesy fruit. Flavor is similar (I'm reviewing the next day, sorry!) There isn't much of that usual toasted dry corn kernels that I get from drie - that has diminished here with age. The sourness is moderate, not acetic, complex, but round and drinkable. This is on the restrained side for what the sourness could have been, I felt. Delicious beer - well worth aging for 10 years! I hope to see it again someday!
I thought the jammy cherry notes were unusual for a drie kriek, I'm not sure if the fruit intensity is coming from the Schaarbeekse version, which I have not had before or because of the 10-years age on it. Gurthnar (9742) - Bratislava, SLOVAKIA - JUL 29, 2020
