"Forest"
Inspired by Latvian folk songs on juniper berry beer, this one will be refreshing in a resinous fashion, balancing with slight malty taste and nice reddish colour. Dryhopped with a variety of hops derived from Eastern Europe wild hops - Kazbek.

[email protected] Alehouse - clear amber beer; aroma of juniper with light notes of citrus; sweet, medium-bodied, astringent, residual sugars and more notes of juniper in the finish - ok yet moderate drinkability

Bottle 50 cl. Pours amber with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Interesting, pleasant slightly sweet aroma - I can't really tell if it's the juniper. Medium body, fruit and caramel - very well integrated. Overwhelmingly dry, yet with a slight berry sweetness. A very well balanced and pleasant Fruit Amber. 080917

Interessante birra ambrata con uso fi bacche di ginepro che si avvertono molto al naso. Piacevole anche al palato.

JorisPPattyn (10062) - BELGIUM - AUG 3, 2017
Very good, dense light yellow-cream head over hazy orange-amber beer. Spices, spruce & hops, especially whilst pouring, as the dense head hardly allows any aroma to get out. Resin and coloured malts, bit of caramel, dry cake or dry brown bread, leafy; after some time a tad metallic. Medium to well-bodied impression; slick; highly carbonated as most Labietis products seem to be. Nice.
