Cask conditioned handpump Moon On The Square Northampton 11/02/14. A classic brown coloured beer with a whitish head and lace. A sweet berry flavoured beer. decent late fruitiness works but otherwise it has the feel of a lazy English bitter. Drinkable I guess. harrisoni (21940) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2014

Tasted this in the Last Post (JDW), Paisley in the 6th February 2014. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale copper in colour with a thin white head. Thin malty aroma with hints of berry fruit. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives robust maltloaf base with sweet raisin fruit present. Bitter earthy hop resins give a musty damp aftertaste. Finish is malty with dry currants, roast hazelnuts and oak cask notes present in the mouth. A decent session ESB with full body and robust flavours present.
