Tap at Brody’s. Clear dark reddish brown with small beige head. Strong bourbon, sweet toffee, fudge, light red berries, light wood, brown sugar, light alcohol, dead leaves. Very sweet and just medium bitter. Almost full bodied with slick feel. Nice! kermis (18400) - Amsterdam-ish, NETHERLANDS - JUL 20, 2018

Draft at Brody’s. Dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of bourbon, oak, vanilla, toffee, caramel and fudge. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.
750ml bottle. In the cellar since September of 2015. Pours a clear dark chestnut with a thin beige head, and some serious lacing. Smells INCREDIBLE. The honey is up front, with lots of butterscotch, bourbon underneath, burnt sugar, and a little bit of maple too. Man. Wow. Sweet, and full bodied up front with raisin, dried dark fruit, burnt sugar, some booziness, and hard water notes that leads into a little more malt surrounded by the dark fruit with the bourbon barrels coming through in the finish with just straight up bourbon, but also a little bit of vanilla. My goodness, this is a treat of the highest order. Wow. I could sip on this all day long...and then head to the dentist the following day. fiulijn (24190) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 20, 2017

Brown color. Nice aroma of malts and little smoke. The body is a bit thin, the alcohol is evident, the caramel body is nice, with elegant fruity notes, light sweetness.
Balanced, very good.
750ml bottle @ the office. Pours a cloudy brown colour with a thin beige head. Nose is a sweet bourbon, bread, and fruit. Flavour is quite similar which actually makes for a tasty brew that is smooth, rich, and yum.

650ml bottle at Brian’s office. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is some bourbon, fruits, bready. Taste is very sweet, fruity, with some bready notes. Good. mcberko (26253) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 7, 2017
750mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a nice complex mix of bourbon and smoke, with some caramel malts and wood. Flavour is a bit different, with lots of red fruits, light bourbon, a tiny hint of smoke, and light toffee. Quite sweet, with a lighty smoky and barrel-heavy character. Very good. Dark brown. Thin head. This has a rich toffeeish dark malt aroma with a fair bit of bourbon coming through as well. The body is a bit thin, with higher than normal carbo for the style, but the malt character is still pretty good despite this. I want more sugars, but there’s pretty good toffeeish, date character, with a fair bit of vanilla/bourbon notes as well. Not much besides that, save for a dash of alcohol in the finish, but overall it’s a pretty good beer. Manslow (2454) - Warsaw, POLAND - APR 27, 2017
W smaku jeszcze orzechy i syrop klonowy. Bardzo dobre piwo na zimne majowe wieczory 2017r.
