Availabale on draught (keg) and in 330ml bottles. Also sold as Sainsbury’s Raspberry Wheat.
NOTE: This is not the same beer as Raspberry Grand Cru.
Based on a pale, lightly hopped wheat beer, the refreshingly crisp fruitiness, aroma and rich colour come from the addition of fresh raspberry puree during maturation. Balancing tartness with sweetness, on its own it is a delicious aperitif, as well being as a great partner for goat’s cheese, rich pate or anything chocolatey.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2018 Hazy/turbid orange/brown beer with a slight/medium off-white/beige head. Medium aroma; taste starts medium sweet and ends slightly bitter and dry. Malts, orange, raspberry, tart and hops. 7/4/7/3

Bottle. 33cl sample. The aroma has raspberries, wheats, hint of slight lactic sourness. Bit hazy, orange coloured beer with a thin head. The taste is light sourish, bit tart, has more sourish tones towards the finish. Initially more lactic, bit more citric in the end. Raspberries and wheat dominate the flavour. Fresh beer. Decent.

Benzai (19995) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 5, 2018
Bottle @ home. Clear orange amber color, medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste are quite nice, clearly raspberry, only a little bit sweet and a light tart note. Quite ok.

33cl bottle. Appearance: A deep orange body, with a tall and thick off-white head. Aroma:wheat, raspberries, berries marmalade. Taste: Rapsberries and wheat sourness a bit artificial, some marmelade and light malts sweetness. Thin body. Ok carbonation. Not fully convincing.

EvNa (1838) - Ede, NETHERLANDS - DEC 10, 2017
Bottle. Color: Orange red, off-white head. Taste: Like a normal wheat beer with too little raspberry syrup. And so you get a moderate beer that is not a wheat beer and no fruit beer either. Thin body, average carbonation. Watery. Mwaah...

Cimbasso (1513) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2017
A hazy red colour with a pinkish head. Quite a tart taste with a good raspberry flavour and some hop taste. Not bad.

Christos (6083) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - JUL 23, 2017
