Pours light golden with a large frothy white head. Aromas of bread, citrus, minerals, dew grass. Taste is citrusy and bready. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry and light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Aroma of malts, sweet corn and grain. Slight hop presence.
Taste is clean, with little sweetness and little to no hop action. Corn, rice and malt can be detected.

I feel this beer is very misunderstood by europeans trying to enjoy it at 12C as you would any good western craft beer.
The ’super dry’ concept can only be enjoyed when the beer is served as it is in Japan at -1C. Ideally the foam should freeze but the beer stay unfrozen. It is essentially a dry cheap lager but cheaper and dryer still. At +6 it’s just a more bland bud light or maybe a pabst, but at -1 the palate sensation is a truly unique experience, and a very pleasant one on a hot japanese summer day coupled with a sushi lunch.
