Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor – a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3°

UPDATED: MAR 18, 2020 Bottle, 0.355l. Cloudy golden pour, half finger soapy white head, short lasting. Minimal lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, fruity citrus notes, lime, herbal background, light grassiness. Thin body, medium but lively carbonation. Light mouthfeel and texture, a bit watery. Bittersweet taste with a touch of tart. Fruity tropical aroma, citruses, herbs and grass. Mild yeasty, eastery, subtle floral touches. Short lasting finish, fruity, mild herbal spiciness. Good thirst quencher but pretty much average overall.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2020 Can from BeerLovers Vienna. Light yellow, clear, visibly carbonated. Thin white head, doesn’t linger. Smells of orange, grapefruit, lemon, strong mango, light bitterness. Fruity fresh, oily, tingles on the tongue. Develops into mango juice with hints of aloe. Rather weak finish of citrus fruit and mango, lightly hopped. 4/5 alohas 🌊

Bamsen78 (6869) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 24, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 24, 2020 Draught @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours nearly clear golden with airy and quickly disappearing white head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with some estery and floral touches and a good deal of butter. Sweetish flavour of tropical fruit and yeast, with notes of malt and bitter touches of hops. Bitter and grassy aftertaste. Thin body despite high carbonation. The fruity nuances are a little disturbing as they taste somewhat synthetic. The bitterness, quite distinct especially in the aftertaste, somehow does not quite fit the overall taste, either, especially given the thin body. Drinkable but by no means impressive.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2020 Лёгкое «обычное» пиво. Из сильных сторон - насыщенный аромат и неплохое послевкусие. В остальном - ну, норм. В целом, хорошее пиво, но не стоит своих денег

multitasker (29) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 14, 2020
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2020 Aromas of tropical fruits, hops, and floral notes. Flavours of sweet malt, slightly bitter hops, tropical fruit, and citrus. Thin watery body with moderate carbonation. Finish is mostly bitter, with the fruit notes short-lasting and rather weak. Perfect as a sessionable ale, especially on the beach in summer.
