courtesy of Philipp and Thomas - quite clear golden-orange beer with a poor head retention; crisp malty aroma, light spicy, almondy and bready; a good malt backbone, rounded and clean palate; bready and light earthy finish; low bitterness

Ogolnie dobre California Common.

33 cl. bottle. Bought from a supermarket (Spar) in Budapest. It is a clear, maybe very slightly hazy, golden-coloured beer with a frothy but quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is malty -- mostly bread and hay, and a little bit roasty. A somewhat roast lager aroma indeed. Its flavour is better though -- a bit fruity. Bittersweet with some sourness. This beer is light-to-medium bodied and thin-to-oily textured. Carbonation is average. Finish is quite dry and somewhat bitter. Nothing special but it’s really a nice beer. Worth a try.
