COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Muse is the newest addition to our Cider House Collection. Inspired by the festive nature of slightly sweet Demi-Sec champagnes and sparkling wines, the Muse is bubbly and effervescent. It is made from traditional culinary and bittersweet apples and aged on French oak. The Muse is sweet up front with a juicy apple aroma and bright acidity, and slightly drying on the finish with a lingering sweet apple note. The French oak adds a subtle wood impression, imparting notes of cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and hints of vanilla.

TrappistForever23 (0) - - MAY 28, 2019 does not count
UPDATED: MAY 28, 2019 Angry Orchards made a highly detailed examination of the taste buds of everyone they could find, a spectroscopic analysis of their metabolisms, and then sent tiny experimental signals down the neural pathways to the taste centres of their brains to see what is likely to be well received. However, no-one knows quite why they did this because The Muse then invariably delivers a cupful of liquid that is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike champagne. This time in a good way. Though, the cork was quite stubborn.

750ml corked and caged bottle shared with my wife. Pours a clear gold with a medium, fizzy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of apple, white wine, spice and oak. Sweet flavour of green apple, white wine, vanilla, spice and oak with a dry, tart finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Very tasty and enjoyable. An excellent Cider.

750ml bottle. Probably 2 year old bottle at this point. Pours bright clean orange with no head. Sweet and tart aroma with some dustiness - I assume from the age. Still quite tart on the tongue, but nicely blended with apple sweetness. Alcohol is well managed. Really tasty cider.

Bottle. Golden, white head. Bubblegum, sarsaparilla, candy apple. Medium body, sweet sticky foamy, light tartness, overall fairly sweet though, apple sugar, light sticky, not my favourite.

Bottle, many thanks Nische! Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is sweet apples, cloves, oak, a touch Brausetablette. Taste is oak, vanilla, sweet apples, but still medium adstringent in the back, light booze even. Oily mouthfeel with effervescent carbonation. Sweet, but tasty. I guess this is how they wanted it to be.

750 ml bottle shared from Tops Liquors. Clear golden colored appearance with active carbonation and a small, fizzy white head. Aroma of apples, pears, white wine and light oak. Similar flavor, adding moderate sweetness and a lightly spiced, oaky finish. Medium body with a touch of dryness. Nice cider overall.
