Bottle from Albin, thanks - Color: deep dark black beer with no carbonation and small brown head. Smell: roasted malt, coffee and liquorice. Hops and grassy hint. Taste: medium body with roasted malt, coffee hint and liquorice. Small grassy hops. Not so well balanced. Malt domination. Aftertaste: coffee and roasted malt, wet bitterness.

Bottle @ dad’s shared by dad and split with him and some friends. Dark brown to black color, medium to full sized off-white to beige head that lasts for quite a long time and leaves fair to good lacing. Aroma is malts, hops, old hops, floral sweetness. Taste malts, hops, old hops, malt bitter, hop bitter. Finishes quite pleasant with a fine hop, hop bitter and dark malt bitter aftertaste. Decent body and carbonation. Might be quite good when fresh.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje & tderoeck! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Vini Birre Ribelli 2016. Dark brown amber, little head. Nose is cheap mocha power, cacao, sugar, bit stale, not getting any real hop. Taste is bit stale, mocha, powder, herbal, thin cheap chocolate profile, sugar. No real hop profile. Thin bodied mocha powder body. Not particularly impressed by this one.

Bottle sample @ Vini Birre Ribelli ’16 shared with 77ship and Tderoeck. Brune, col beige.

Bottled, 330ml from Strasbourg Biere Import Bottle Shop, Strasbourg, France. Very dark brown with beige head. There is a rich, darkly roasted malt flavour up front, bitter chocolate, bitter coffee notes. There is a slightly tart fruity, cherry note then hoppy tropical fruit notes. Full and lasting on the palate. Very pleasant.
