UPDATED: APR 29, 2020 Can - lightly hazy gold with a soapy lace - dank AF aroma and flavor - malt structure is clean and lightly sweet up front, dry and clean on the back end - just enough foundation for the complex hop profile to cling to - hops are floral, spicy, dank, with some pine and citrus on the back end - finish is pepper, grassy, and dry - there’s a bit of sprouted garlic hoppiness lurking in the background that lessen my enjoyment somewhat, but overall good.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2020 On tap at Fortnight in downtown Providence, RI. Pours totally bright (/clear) gold with an inch of frothy white head, good retention. Aroma is orange, pineapple, some grapefruit, some spicy-herbal raw hop pellet aromas, light malt sweetness, rather floral - think of non-clover honeys. Reminds me just a bit of wort, which is why I'm only giving it a 7 on aroma. Mouthfeel is medium body, mostly oily, bit syrupy/starchy, moderate carbonation, medium-coarseness, medium burn, frothy. Flavor is grapefruit, touch of chicken (?!) some herbs, dank, spicy and very floral!! a bit of mango, a bit of hard rock candy. This is unique, especially the floral notes, which are lovely! Not sure exactly what they are doing, but keep it up! Also, not a hazy IPA - definitely a classic.

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2020 16 oz can at Pennsport. Medium golden, light haze, spotty head. Aroma features light hoppy notes, caramel. Taste did not wow me at first, given this beer's rep. It did creep up on me as I made my way through, tropical fruit notes, toffee, light floral and herbal accents. Slick, full mouthfeel Lingering bitterness.

coil (563) - Surrey, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 1, 2020 500ml can from Brewdog Outpost Tower Hill. Amber colour with white head. Big pine resin hops, big citrus hops, pink grapefruit, lemon pith, tropical fruit hops, orange pith, dank, light yeasty, light mango, light biscuit malt. V drinkable for 8%, feels kind of like a middle ground between west coast and New England, great one

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2020 Pint can from BrewDog Doghouse. Clear orange amber, not much head. Orange malt aroma. Tangerine hop falvour. Sharp and better. Decent IPA but doesn't deserve quite such high ratings.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2020 One is the best IPA beers I have ever had. Fruit flavors that are well blended. Nice bitter finish. This is as good as it gets! Outstanding!

jamestulloch (6150) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 10, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 10, 2020 Can from BrewDog Lothian Road. Hazy golden body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine, stainless steel and resin. Flavour of lemon and pine with a long, bitter finish. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. It’s a decent IPA but I expected it to be better based on its score here.

jjsint (5323) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 5, 2020 Can bought at BrewDog Leicester, drunk at home. Dark gold, pretty hazy with a ring of white head and a scummy white head. Some apricot, melon, white grape and lemon biscuit on the nose. Initially sweet with a nice malty hit followed by bitter and slightly astringent hop. Some peach and TCP in the aftertaste. Medium to heavy carbonation. Delicious!
