COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Programmed with 5 West Coast American hops, HopBot IPA brings out waves of absurd citrus and tropical aroma and flavor.

The Citra, Centennial, Mosaic, Summit and Willamette hops are perfectly balanced by a solid malt backbone.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2019 Tried this one from a 473ml can bought at an LCBO in Toronto and has been cold in the fridge for a few days. Colour is a lot darker then most IPAs, almost a light amber. Likely due to the use of darker malts which should either add some interesting aspects. Nose is decently yeasty, nice floral and light hops along with some faint orange and lemon. Palate is quite hoppy (not too much though) but has a good amount of lemon and almost grapefruit like citrus and a decent maltiness. Mouthfeel is pretty fresh and crisp with a zing from what appears to be the Citra hops shining through. This one feels a bit too hop dominated on the finish though as the fruity aspects don't shine through a lot. Overall it's quite nice for the price (around $3.25) but I don't think I'd buy this one again as it's not the kind of IPA I enjoy (personally I'd stick to Great Lakes Moxee or Octopus for this style of IPA) but for those who like something hop dominated that's not pure hops like an Amsterdam Boneshaker this one might be for you!

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2019 I have found this beer, at Kornwestheim, close to Stuttgart, at Heinrich 3000. Trying this product at home, in Epalinges. In my opinion, it is a rather good IPA, dark copper body, clear, normal carbonation, white foam. The taste has a powerful bitterness, pine treebien side, a bit sweet, little side of eucalyptus, dry malt, dry hop. This one is well balanced, perfect during the meal.

Gold, full body, good looking IPA. Aroma is caramel, hops evident but more reserved than expected. Nice balance of malts and citrus hops. Picked up a tall boy of HopCity @ Duty Free Shop returning from Canada.
