UPDATED: OCT 23, 2022 From 7-11 down the road, leftovers from their summer beer campaign. Aroma: a field of grapefruit. Appearance: clear bronze, masses of off-white foam, very inviting. Palate: medium-bodied and rather astringent, average carbonation, predominantly bitter finish. Taste: heavily-bitter with sweet notes, peppery though not noticeably boozy, a suggestion of strawberry. Drinkable, would prefer it a little sweeter.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2021 Dose 473ml Farbe: Bernstein trüb. Schaumkrone recht konstant und feinporig. Geruch: malzig und zitronig Geschmack. Malzig Süd- etwas grapefruit kaum bitter

UPDATED: APR 29, 2021 Strange beer. Clear Amber color and a white head. Lots of caramel malts dominante the fruity aroma and flavors.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2021 Clean copper with a medium head. Aroma of pine hop. Flavour is pine and resin, orange fruits, bread finish.

Clear, deep copper color with a medium, white head. Hoppy, a bit doughy, piney, not too bitter. Same goes for the flavor. Only the aftertaste offers that classic lingering bitterness. Medium, slick, average. Overall, not too bad but I find it difficult to gauge it on account of a long brake.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2021 463ml can from In Pivo Veritas in Moscow. Pours opaque dark orange with a tall off-white head. Aroma is citrus, resin, malt. Taste is light sweet, citrus, resin. Heavy bitter finish. Classic West Coast.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2020 Ipa de 7,1 % abv et 70 ebu, à la belle parité. Houblonnage en summit, citra, centennial, mosaïc et willamette. Mon exemplaire, en bouteille de verre, était à 17 mois après sa date. Couleur ambré sombre aux reflets roux soutenu, et clarté nette. Bulles moyennes, en fontaine centrale, très nombreuses et vives. Mousse beige, crémeuse, stable à 3 mm. Arômes de fruits confits, fruits secs, pointe de mûre, feuille d'acacia. 1ère bouche souple, sur un ensemble correct malt/fruit/résine. Arrière-bouche moins définie que la bouche, elle nage un peu. 2ème bouche avec une résine un peu trop appuyée. Arrière-bouche avec une pointe d'acide, finissant astringente. Longueur qui s'affadit et lisse les saveurs, sans trouver d'harmonie. Jambes à gros flocons, serrées, assez courtes. Levure correcte. Alcool sous son niveau, il joue très bien le rôle du robot insensible .. Finale lassante à force d'imprécision. CONCLUSION : une bière qui porte bien son nom, c'est un robot sans âme, et surtout pas une âme de houblon … ou un robot houblonné .. Bref, on tourne en rond avec ce robot … (5/2/3/2/7)
