UPDATED: OCT 29, 2023 On draft at Dominion Wine and Beer. Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Aromas are caramel and citrus. Flavors are moderately bitter citrus.

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2022 Super sharp green onion, pineapple rind. Pours clear golden orange with decent head. The Root and Branch I had just before this was actually a little better, surprisingly. Saturated world of hazies these days. Hop tang finish. Tap at Snally.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2022 Draft pour at Snallygaster 2022. Poured a clear golden orange color with a small white head. Aroma was huge resin notes. Huge florals, big pine resin. Alcohol burn kicked me in the back of the throat. Huge beer, maybe a bit of a beer from a bygone era. The normal Sunshine is nice enough as-is for me.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2022 Whew! This one is intense, and a little boozy! It is really an aggressively hopped big beer... reminds me a lot of old school IPAs like DFH 90 minute. It was good, but I think I like the regular and the double better than the Triple.

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2022 12oz clear gold, foamy white head. Nose has malt and honey and booze, pine, grapefruit. Flavor is huge with pine and honey and grapefruit. Finishes full bodied, sticky, off dry finish. 8 4 8 4 14

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2022 20Mar2022 Sweet, overripe tropical fruits, candied mango, papaya, pineapple, pine. Hazy gold, medium, creamy, white head. Heavy sweet. Candied, rich, sweet, creamy tropical and stone fruits, mango, papaya, peach, soft carb, full bod. Very nice, aroma lacks depth. Can from Clinton Gourmet Corp.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2022 Draft at brewery. Golden pour, soft white head. Light fruity aroma with a hit of strength. Taste is sweet, fruity and warm. Smooth as a baby's bottom. Light toffee notes, orange. Another wow!

UPDATED: APR 1, 2022 Blik gedeeld door Keukeman, geprobeerd met Benzai. Het is een troebel oranje geel bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige wat 'dank' achtige geur. De smaak is hoppig en wat fruitig.

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2022 12 ounce can. Amber orange pour. Frothy beige head. Tropical fruit aroma hints at orange, pineapple and mango. Flavor is sweet papaya, apricot, orange and pineapple. Warming alcohol in middle. Finishes with notes of candied citrus, resiny pine and grapefruit. Outstanding.

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2022 Can from Wegmans. Smells delightful. Mostly tropical. Oh but the mouthfeel stars here. So thick. Lots of flavor too, with the alcohol towards the end. I really like this. Only vaguely hazy with a pale orange glow.
