Bottle @Craigs (The Budget week tasting, rating backlog). Pours brown, tan head. Nose is chocolate, pine, roasted malts, berries, fruity. Taste is quite hop forward, some chocolate and fruitiness coming along for the ride as well. I’m sorry black IPA’s i don’t know why i don’t like you i just don’t.

corkyrory66 (2163) - BELGIUM - JUN 8, 2017

Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - APR 10, 2017
Draft in Louisville at Sergio’s. When you get a chance to drink a retired black IPA from Estonia you don’t say no. Dark pour, huge thick rocky khaki head. Roast, somewhat astringent, mustard. Muted. Moderately bitter, dry. Lasting harsh finish. Overall: wooooo Estonia!

nihtila (3858) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 10, 2017
Bottle at Craigs. Dark brown. Nose is chocolate, roast, sweet, pine. Tastes a lot blander than nose, only faint of pine and fruits, some chocolate. To be honest, this bottle was quite old.

BitchPls (815) - FINLAND - FEB 8, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 8, 2017 Cola black beer with a small dark beige head. Roastiness and mild fruitiness in the aroma...Probably with blueberries? Quite nice bitterness and a bit strange flavor from the blueberries again? Roasted and bitter with blueberries... weird but quite alright. Salty liquorice also. I?m not sure if I really like it but it?s worth tasting for, for sure! It?s quite well made and balanced actually.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2016 [email protected] this a year after expiration date, still tastes fantastic. Its no longer got any ipa flavors, but the dark beer with forest berries is in there, its strong and tastes nice. If you?re sitting on a batch or you have a chance to try one, you?re in luck because this is really good.

Tap at Gollem Amstelstraat. Almost black with big beige head. Lots of roasted notes, light lime and grass, coffee, light caramel and bread. Under medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied.
