English: Hopefully we don’t insult anybody by claiming that Oklahoma was quite a beer wasteland until just recently. Then, along came the brothers Healey, Colin and Chase, with guts, stamina and an awful lot of talent. And well, the rest is history… Prairie - originally a gypsy operation - soon became one of the most buzzed about craft breweries, not only in Oklahoma, not only in the US, but in the world. So when these dudes were invited to the Copenhagen Beer Celebration it was only natural for us to invite them to Amager also. And naturally the style chosen for our collaboration had to be a Farmhouse Saison, a style that Prairie has very much excelled at brewing. One of the Amager crew is still terribly ashamed of sleeping through a tornado warning at a motel room somewhere in Oklahoma years ago, so out of respect for the powers from above we named the beer "Tulsa Twister". As loud and frightening as a twister is, as cool and laid back are the dudes from Prairie. We had a great day of brewing and friendship - we hope it shows in the beer.

from Erzbierschof - hazy golden-yellow with a good head retention; estery and gently spicy aroma with fair notes of citrus; full-bodied, tasty and lively palate; fresh, light grainy and more spicy fruity finish with a lingering tartness

500 ml bottle. Bought in Beervana in Santiago, Chile. Really foggy yellow color, large white head. Citric smell, spicy, good. Good taste, hits after a while. Pepper and almonds in it, but a little citric in the end. Solid beer. GOOD.

Piwo koloru słomkowego, lekko zmętnione, z puszystą białą pianą. W aromacie kwiatowe, przyprawowe, brzoskwiniowe, delikatnie melonowe.

(Bottle) Golden yellow colour, hazy, with big frothy white head. Fruity, spicy nose with lemon peel, passion-fruit, white bread, herbs and spices. Fruity, hoppy, spicy taste with notes of white bread, lemon peel, passion-fruit, wheat, elderflower and a balanced spicy bitterness in a finish with a touch of alcohol. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh, spicy and quite a hoppy saison. Nice one.

A light yellow beer, a head is big andblond. Aroma has strong citrus with a tropical notes, pepper, some sourness. Taste has citrus, some tropical fruitness, also bitterness and spicyness, balanced sourness is refreshning. Medium bodied, high carbonation as expected. Refreshning, more complexicity to traditional gives the tropical notes and stronger sourness.

Hazy yellow color, white head. Nose is fresh citrus fruit, orange, something sweet, pale malt. Very fresh smell, taste continues along those lines. Citrus first and foremost with a noticeable but fairly low amount of bitterness, medium carbonation. Really nice taste and palate, although maybe a bit short. Makes you want to take another sip, extremely drinkable.

[Bottle (500ml) shared w/ HogTownHarry & GregClow] Pours a murky gold with a large lasting frothy white head. Aroma is quite yeasty, fruity and herbal along with some hops, Flavour’s quite nice: yeasty, hoppy and herbal. Alcohol’s fairly well hidden. Medium bodied. I quite liked this.

Got this one from LCBO Spring 2017 collection. I thought it was more of an IPA than a saison, therefore an ok saison.

crazy_cat_lady (680) - - JUL 16, 2017
Bottle from the LCBO. Cloudy golden yellow with a big pillowy white head. Nice bright aroma of grass, straw, lemon meringue, faint peach. Sweetish lemon with a big grass component to the flavour that is quite lovely. High carbonation.
