COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hopfen: Mosaic, East Kent Golding, Hallertauer Mittelfrüh, Magnum Malz: Pale Ale, Karamellmalz In 1900 Brown Ale was a popular Ale in British pubs. Our interpretation leads to a refreshing beer with a nut brown color, with intense hop aroma and strong malt notes - a "mosaic" of hops and malt.

Nice bottle but not all detail information here, very nice webpage with a lot of information there. Light cloudy brown beer with very short light brown head, smell is hoppy - very good, taste is bread, not so hoppy how the smell, bitter, long finish, (I have 0.355l bottle with best-before 05.02.2018 and batch L0508D31719)

Aroma: extremely sweet malt; Appearance: murky brown pour with thin white head; Taste: follows nose with slight hoppiness at finish; Palate: medium body with cloyingly sweet finish; Overall: not my favorite style, but an okay example of it.

0.33 l bottle @ Düsseldorf Airport bar, April 24, 2017. Appearance is brown, clear and OK head. Well, this is no Newcastle Brown Ale - this is quite hoppy. Not too much, though, hops mix here well with the brown malts. Very good.

[email protected] Pours almost clear red brown with beige head. Aroma has malt with caramel and some roasted and dark bread notes with hints of grassy and straw notes from the hops. Taste is lightly sweet malty with dark bread, caramel, some roastedness and trace of grassy and hay notes of hops. Finish is malty and dry.
