COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fresh pine and citrus hop aroma can be expected thanks to a blend of our favourite Australian and American hops. We took a classic English style IPA and made it stronger and bolder "American Style" by beefing up the malt bill and just adding some more hops to it.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2020 It grew on me. Like a weed. Ugly to begin with but after it takes over the entire garden you begin to appreciate the beauty.

Canimal from Plonk (June 2015). Hazy copper/orange, quite malty aroma, but there's piney, orange/grapefruit hops too, nice assertive bitterness, quite citrussy. Nice.

Can. Gold/bronze, small head but strong lacing. Aromas of pine, grapefruit, some earthiness and caramel. Flavours of resinous pine, citrus, earthy and rye notes, sweetish caramel backing. Mod-heavy bitterness. Rich mouthfeel. Very drinkable for 7.2% ABV

Copper-gold pour with a decent sized off-white head. Big orange, grapefruit, tropical aromas with a nice malt backbone. Taste is citrus, big, juicy, bitter, caramel, packs a lot in there but it is very easy drinking. Cracker.

On tap at Modus Operandi, pours a hazy copper orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank hops, with citrus juiciness and almost a pot-like quality. Flavour is pure pot, with lots of dank herbal hops, a juicy quality and wet biscuity malt. Dank and pot-like as fuck. Excellent.

sm89walt (2773) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - FEB 2, 2016
On tap at the brewery. A big beer, no doubt, but no at the sacrifice of drinkability. Copper-Amber with a small, somewhat lasting white to off-White head on the pour. Bold citrus and tropical fruit aromas with herbaceous notes, pine and resin. Medium to full body, moderate carbonation and a long, full intensity finish of pine and grapefruit.
