August 2017 - Bottle share at Chriso's Pre-GBBF Shindig. Thanks! As 'Mont Salève Smoked IPA', 6%. Pale-ish golden yellow, translucent and sparkling with a foamy off-white head. Aroam is weirdly phenolic and medicinal, faint TCP, underripe mango. Body is light, tingly to spritzy carbonation, a little frothy. Taste is again weirdly phenolic, slight caramel, sodawater, medicinal. Doesn't work for me – too weird. (4-4-4-3-11=2.6)

Bottle share at Chriso’s, yellow-gold hazy pour, peaty petroleum Lagavulin-like nose, good balance of smoke, bitterness and fruity malt, interessant!

from Batavia - quite clear orange-bronze beer under a creamy pale beige foam; gently smokey with hoppy notes of oranges and mango; a good malt backbone, juicy palate; a gentle smokyness in a finish dominated by the fruity tones

Bottle at home, 26th June 16. Amber, nice neat head. Aroma is citrus, pine, iodine, TCP, taste is TCP, bitter, peaty, some hops, overrun by iodine, it’s weird, but drinkable.

ruigo (3080) - PORTUGAL - JUN 14, 2016
UPDATED: JUN 14, 2016 33cl Bottle. Almost clear golden colour with a thin white head. Smoke, malts, caramel and light hoppy aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is more on the smoky side with some leather notes and light fruity in the back. Overall, drinkable but not remarkable.

J’ai de la peine à boire cette blonde peu moussue: son goût de fumée m’est assez désagréable. Sa robe jaune foncé est belle mais ne permet pas de remonter la note.
