GBBF Day 2. Cask. Clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth and fairly dry palate, very modest fine carbonation. Thin dry pale malts, just a bare whisper of sweetness. Floral mid. Dry and pithy citrus, a little insipid. Dry finish. Bland and dry.
Cask @ Yates’s, Halifax. Golden-blonde with a thin head. Has a berry-sweetness in both aroma and taste. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - SEP 5, 2014
Refreshing golden ale with fabulous floral hop notes. A golden beer which needed about two pints pulling to get me a half pint. Therefore it had an enormous head. Was in decent condition though. Hop lead although not particularly hoppy. Malts edge towards biscuity. Safe, sessionable and just OK.
