The Kellerbier is served throughout the year in our Guesthouse and from May to September on the Griess-Keller - - The hops i use for the Kellerbeer are: Hercules, Pearle & Tradition - The malt varieties we use are pilsner and caramel bright Our draft beer is served on tap in the following locations: - Café Express Nuernberg - Bere, Mache, bir&fud, pork & roll in Rome Italy - Scurreria Beer & Bagel in Genova, Italy

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2019 500 ml bottle. Cloudy orange, foamy head. Hay, bread, citrus, grass, dough, sunflower seeds. Dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry finish. A good Kellerbier!

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2019 'Självrunnen' at Zum Franziskaner. Golden with a large white head. Aroma of malt, hops, bread and some herbs. The same in the taste. The body was medium and the finish quite bitter. A decent one.

The aroma is yeasty and lightly malty - rye bread, some dough, sweet grains, faint notes of smoke, some herbal notes, hay. Medium body with a soft to average carbonation, a light sweetness and a light bitterness. The flavor is medium malty and only lightly yeasty with sweet grains, biscuit, hints of honey, light fruity notes, hints of apples, pear, some bread and distinct herbal, floral notes. Finishes with a light earthy, herbal, hoppy bitterness. Overall very balanced, smooth to drink. Aroma: 7 Appearance: 4 Taste: 7 Palate: 4 Overall: 13

50cl bottle pours a murky yellow with some frothy, white head. Nose is nice, yeast, honey, grist, flowers. Flavor follows, sweet, grist, honey, chewy dough, yeast. Supple, slick finish.
