UPDATED: AUG 2, 2023 2/8/2023. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear with a slight tint of yellow and no head. Aroma of rice water, melon, flowers, lemon drops, pineapple cubes, touch of aniseed. Moderate sweetness, mild bitterness, hint of chocolate. Quite full body, very oily, low carbonation. Liked it.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2023 Arôme fleuri très subtil qui dure en bouche. Doux, mais sans rondeur. Très agréable.

flatmatt (2274) - Northville, Michigan, USA - MAR 12, 2023
UPDATED: MAR 12, 2023 750 mL bottle. Pours clear and has a light fruity aroma, like plum. Flavor of light plum with a light vanilla sweetness. Not bad at all.

danlo (11269) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2023
UPDATED: FEB 14, 2023 300ml bottle from Japan Centre. Clear almost colourless with very pale yellow tint, no head and aroma of fruity, rice, melon. Taste is sweetish, rice, melon, floral, with slight grassy & alcohol notes. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, drying warm booze at the finish. Nicely drinkable.

ClarkVV (13401) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 26, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2021 375mL bottle drunk 8/21/21. Clear. Fruity and sweet, maybe moreso than most ginjos I've had. But not in an unrefined or sugary/cheap way. More of a stewed rice/rice pudding-like character with plentiful big fruit notes and hints of floral character. No alcohol noted. Very clean. Soft and round with a hint of nutty sweetness up front and a full, round body through the middle with softly sweet rice and tons of playful tropical fruit. Alcohol is nowhere to be found and this stuff is just stupidly drinkable.

jaghana (7774) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - JAN 30, 2021
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2021 Bottle 30cl, nose is floral and not much developed. Aroma again on this floral and slightly sour notes, finish is more usual on rice and fermented rice, violette notes, bit disappointing as not complex, still kind of sourish/ floral finish.
