jaghana (6224) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - OCT 7, 2017
Bottle 75cl, an amber beer with medium head. Nose is on caramel and toasted caramel, nothing to deal with an ipa. Aroma on malt and caramel, mint and spices touch.

AssKicker (630) - Strasbourg, FRANCE - OCT 7, 2017

Bov (13221) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 4, 2017
courtesy of Jasmina - quite clear amber-bronze beer with a oslid foamy and creamy beige head; dusty aroma with notes of quinces and caramel; medium-bodied, astringent and aggressively bitter; dusty, earthy and resiney finish - low drinkability

minutemat (5938) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2017
Pression @ outdoor market, Caen as 'Thor Ambree'. I assume it's this one. Pours a generally clear amber, small off-white head. Aroma has pleasant caramel malt, light spice. Follows through on the palate with a bright sweetness. Seemed to slot right into the 'ambree' box, rather than an IPA. Not bad after a 20k cycle ride into town.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a fluffy white head, aroma is light and hoppy with hints of orange, the taste is medium bitterness with some sweetness coming through, with a dry soft bitter finish.

Rulymel (294) - SPAIN - NOV 13, 2015
India Pale Ale with moderate aroma and soft bitterness with some malty hints. Easy to drink and nice to initiate in the style, but just a little bit poor if you like IPA.

Idiosynkrasie (7837) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - OCT 18, 2015
330ml bottle [Thank you very much, Gunnar!]. Murky deep golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Herbal, grassy, hoppy aroma, hints of coniferes and thyme. Taste is dry, minimally tart, grassy and minimally herbal hoppy, fruity, notes of gooseberry, well supporting pale malty basis, very subtle sweetness. Absolutely OK.

Benzai (16520) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAY 21, 2015
Bottle shared by Erwin Van Moll @ Brewpub Van Moll during the brewing of Benzai’s 10k beer. Hazy orange to light amber color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while and leaves good lacing. Aroma is malts, a bit perfumy hops. Taste malts, some hops, slightly floral, lightly bitter. Average to decent body and carbonation.

Un peu fade comme IPA, sinon la bière se boit bien, ma note n’est pas bonne parce que pour une IPA, il y a peu d’amertume et presque pas de note de fruit. Plutôt une bière ambrée correcte.
