midovark (2642) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 1, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2019 Tap at Craft Beer Spot Prague. Black pour, beige head. Chocolate, light coffee, toffee, some nuts, it's all there. Well balanced, crisp and tasty dunkel, one of the best ones of this style I've had so far.

marass (110) - CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 20, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2019 Dark, opaque colour. Coffee, creamy. Maybe bit of milk chocolate. Maybe sweeter than expected.

adamnowek (5214) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAR 31, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 31, 2019 Incredibly dark brown colour. Massive beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate and toast. Taste is quite malty with some semisweet chocolate and nuts.

z87 (1974) - Frydek-Mistek, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 27, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2019 Ochutnáno ve Skákavém poníkovi v ostravském Pivovarském domě. Neuvěřitelné překvapení. Jednoznačně nejlepší černé pivo, které jsem kdy ochutnal.

jfb (8144) - Bamberg, GERMANY - MAR 10, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 10, 2019 (draught) deep brown colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of earthy malts and manure, with a light red wine pungency, some candle wax and yeast. flavour is mostly toasted grain and pears, quite earthy, with a light tobacco sweetness and some caramel in the semi-dry finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation. solid stuff.

MasDen (1236) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 24, 2018
UPDATED: NOV 24, 2018 Black malt, coffee, a crust of black bread in flavor. Black, transparent with resistant white foam. It tastes like malt, some bitter coffee, and hops. The body is light, medium carbonation.

MartinT (10700) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 18, 2018
My Bottom Line:
This beautifully soft and ample Tmavy showcases black coffee, wood and toasted crumbs in an intricate pattern.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam laces atop the brown-edged black.
-Finishing bitterness is easygoing.
-Drinkability is high.
-That mouthfeel is something else!

On tap at U Vodoucha.

Turtles (3710) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 2, 2018
Keg @ Zly Casy. Deep dark mahogany pour with a dense and lasting white head, good lacing. Nutty and leafy aroma with chocolates and a gentle toast. Well rounded and dry mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonated. Earthy and chocolate bitter taste, leafy some hay and caramel sweetness in the finish.

mcberko (29985) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 17, 2018
On tap at U Slovanské Lípy, pours black with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out a nice earthy roasted malt character upfront, with some crusty rye bread. Flavour follows through, with a wonderful earthy roast character upfront, with some lightly burnt crusty rye bread. Full-bodied, especially for the style. This is lovely.

JanNathanFeit (341) - Praha, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAY 19, 2018
Aroma: cocoa beans, chocolate, Taste: light sweetness, light to medium bitterness, same as aroma, bitter finish.
