12oz bottle from Discount in Waukesha. Brownish pour coats of lace. Nose is of sweet malts, tangy hops. Better taste, nice sweet & black malts being roasty. Maybe coffee. Nicely blended between bitter & sweet. 13.8

Pours a very dark red/brown, nearly black with a decent slight tan head. Aroma is sweet plum, vinous, liqourice. Taste is quite sweet up front, plum, slightly tart, leading to a very bitter middle and finish that lingers for a long time. Very dark, roasted, almost burnt coffee, slightly unpleasant at the back of the tongue. Low carbonation, medium to thin bodied. Pretty good, would be better if it were slightly thicker bodied and with less of the strange aftertaste.

330ml bottle from Beer Shop: St. Albans. Really dark ruby, with a big, beige head. Aroma of dark fruit, straw, raisins, leather and a little vanilla. Super dry flavours of burnt malt and dry hops. Lovely!

Corpo medio e carbonazione medio-bassa.
