Bottle, 500ml. *** Colour: Bright, hazy golden yellow. Big, fluffy white head. *** Nose: Grains, yeast, a hint of lemon. Mild herbs. *** Mouthfeel: Light to medium body, but hardly watery. Active carbonation. *** Taste: Light caramel, floral hops, yeast and mild herbs at the start. Rather hoppy and bitter toweards the middle, some herbs. Bitter finish, or hops and a little lemon, more lemony in the aftertaste. *** Impressions: Yeasty and agreeably bitter, well, "bitter" (although that style designation really doesn’t tell anyone anything!) with quite a profile to it, more substance than most golden ales. Well done.
