COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Golden-yellow and bright, with 32 bitter units and quite hoppy compared to most of the other Pilsners our Weihenstephaner Pilsner comes up with a distinctive aroma of hops with a pleasant bitterness. This combination provides a balanced mix and guarantees great enjoyment. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Hiero (240) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 3, 2019
UPDATED: APR 3, 2019 Half a finger of head that sticks around for a bit. Good lacing, with a stream of bubbles. The smell and taste reminds me of Pilsner Urquell with a little bit more body. I like this one better.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2019 Bottle courtesy of our landlords Peter and Elke, cheers you two! Consumed at home Attenkirchen, Bavaria, Monday 18th March 2019. Pours gold, it's crystal clear with a white head. Clean tasting pils, subtle but noticeable hop presence, a little minerally edge to it, some grainy sweetness. It's a good Pils.

The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Clean, crisp, balanced. Really enjoy this pils.

canary dog (813) - Rutland, Vermont, USA - DEC 27, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2018 Crisp and light and maybe a touch sweet in the finish. I was expecting something a little more substantial. This is a very low gravity beer. I bet it's great ice cold.
