COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The female demon Onoskelis is a woman with a beautiful form and the legs of an ass who lives in a cave, perverting men and killing at will. Our Onoskelis is an English-American Hybrid barleywine that pours a clear ruby color. The aroma and flavor take the best parts of both English and American aspects of the style. Subtle malt flavor with hints of smoke lead to a bitterness that builds as you drink it. At 11% ABV, the alcohol is very well hidden, making Onoskelis surprisingly drinkable--a demon with beautiful form indeed!

A very nice barleywine. Pours a beautiful bright red with a white head. Smells of caramel, sea salt, green apples. Taste is bright and malty, with more caramel, sea salt, vanilla and coconut. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

( Palo Alto Onoskelis Barleywine) Tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam, vintage 2014, 150 ml. Deep red colour on the body, one finger of creamy and thick, light tan head on top, with good retention, heavy lacing left behind. Arom aof red fruits and marmalade, alcohol. Taste is sweet with red fruits, alcohol, light strawberry even, marmalade. Medium body, good carbonation, quite dry on the palate. Too sweet at times but still nice.

Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Cloudy, dark reddish brown with a tan head. Sweetish, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, molasses, strawberry jam and red fruits. Sweet, malty and slightly fruity taste of caramel, molasses, strawberry jam and red fruits, followed by a short, medium bitter finish. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, flat. Nice, but quite one-dimensional.

Pinball (12263) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 25, 2016
clear orange with particles, yellow-orange head. malts, bread, powdered sugar and wood in the aroma, mild and rounded, and hides the 11% very well. Flavor is malty, slightly boozy, slightly soapy, bread or dough, wood, very nice non-us hoppy bitterness that is strong and is there, but not dominating and thus playing super well into the sweet malts. ends ronded with a woody bitterness, the far aftertaste is really good, like afte a really good glass of expensive booze.

ALIBALI (2401) - Kiel, GERMANY - MAR 10, 2016
Ich habe die Vintage 2014 mit 13% geschlürft. Extrem cherrylastiger Barley Wine. Rauchig. Schmeckt holzfassgelagert. Das alles absolut kompromisslos und auch ein wenig unkooperativ.....im Umgang mit den Geschmacksknospen. 0,15l/4,50 Euro im BEER TEMPLE Amsterdam.
