Bottle, Total Wine, Fredericksburg. Pours amber with a small beige head. Aroma is dank hops, a melange of shit basically - nothing stands out. Flavor is better than the nose: heavy resin, pine, some grapefruit peel, back pepper on the back end. Overall, this is a malty, hoppy mess. It’s not bad, but, I’d never choose to drink it (unless put up against crap).

Bottle from Total Wine, Lynnwood
Amber color. As the color suggests, expects a beer strong in caramel, moderately sweet, with good body, and bitter orange peel.
Old style, but competently brewed.

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney and resinous hops, red fruits, and sweet caramel malts. Flavour is along the same lines, with big resinous hops, sweet caramel malts and some pine. Sticky, medium sweet palate, with a nice resinous finish. Certainly not the best IIPA out there, but it’s a well-made sweet one.

Not too boozy. A little bitter. Not very refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Strong but I'm not a huge fan of the flavor. It's kind of bland for an IPA, but it's possible the warm tequila flavor in my mouth is overshadowing the beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

My father in law won some gift basket full of random ipas of which I gladly helped myself to the new ticks. Golden Amber frothy head. Nose is caramel and pine. Tastes of sticky pine sap, caramel, oranges, bitter lead littter. Sticky palate. Slightly sweet.

Pours a clear light amber/gold with a finger of frothy white head with a burnt orange tinge. Aroma is orange and grapefruit with some tartness. Flavor is slightly sticky with a sweet and slightly bitter orange character that coats the palate.

(Samuel Adams Rebel Rouser) Bottle 355ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 8.4% Dark orange colour on the body, crystal clear, with a good sized and thick white head on top. Aroma of caramel, biscuit, orange. Taste has caramel, notable alcohol, biscuit, dough, old hops, oranges, tangerine. Medium body, good carbonation. Nice although it was almost on its BBD, has already started to turn into a hoppy barley wine.

355 ml bottle.
Rated on 20170519.
Pours clear copper color with a large white head. Very resinous aroma with mild hop notes, malty with some caramel, faint pine. Flavor is also resinous, malty and sweet with caramel, mild bitterness, slightly bready dry finish. Clearly a bit old already, okay malty brew anyway.
