Bottle, Oddbins West Hampstead. Nice dark black colour, modest beige foam. Smells of roasty malts and lactose. Lovely rich creamy sweet stout, good interplay of burnt malts, chocolate, hint of sweetness, and the milky lactose texture. Touch of dry and bitter from cocoa. Not overly hoppy. Lovely stout, really nice. Terry must have run off with the orange though. panda_brewmaster (128) - Bournemouth, Dorset, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 28, 2017 Aromas of roasted malts, dark chocolate and subtle coffee. Taste is dark chocolate with lots of cocoa. Bitter and cocoa acidic aftertaste. No sign of orange zest. jasonbenali (253) - Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 24, 2017
Pours dark black with a thin off white head and thick lacing.
Aroma is chocolate, roast malts, milk, mint, brown bread and hint of orange. Taste os sweet with a medium bitter finish and medium body.
Good quality stout, shame the orange is too faint to live up to the full billing. pims (54) - - DEC 23, 2017
Smell of cider, fruits. Taste is chocolate mostly, a bit bitter and fruity in the palate (due to the orange perhaps ?). kraddel (9331) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - DEC 8, 2017
Pours dark brown, smell is crunchy, taste is sharp, bitter, roasty, tad of coffee. Didn't get the orange or lactose...

Bottle from Oddbins Beer Shop, Blackheath. Black pour with a beige head. Lots of chocolate orange in the nose, whisper of liquorice. Flavours of coffee, chocolate, spice, light orange action. Good. Yorker (2117) - Holstebro, DENMARK - JUL 8, 2017

[ As Brew By Numbers 08/03 Stout - Chocolate & Orange ].
Unclear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, dusty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, coffee, dusty, chocolate, milk chocolate, sweet malt, dark malt, light orange chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle 330ml. This is a dessert beer to sip after dinner. Dark brown with a thin offwhite head. Plenty of chocolate and sweetness in the aroma. The taste is not up to par with the aroma though. The bitterness of the Seville Orange and the hops don’t really match, the mix becomes a bit unbalanced. Svesse (8944) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAR 11, 2017
(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 10 Dec 2016) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, orange peel and coffee. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, cacao, orange peel, coffee and a generous roasty cacao bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Solid and well made stout with a nice orange touch. Excellent beer!
