(2016 backlog) As Lidl’s 3-pack "Maltos Paradiso Zwickl", advertising Mosaic hops - in. - Sweetish stewed pear&apple jam porridge allows some natural fruity hop notes to surface: malt body soggy, with coarser sugars hovering about. Accents of green grape/gooseberry/ripe yellow kiwi. - Coarse, with redeeming Mosaic whiffs.

courtesy of Philipp and Thomas; as Perlenbacher Maltos Paradiso Zwickl - quite clear blond beer with a modest head retention; aroma of oily grass and urine; medium-bodied, oily palate, sweet; corny and sweetish grassy finish - bad

Geht in Richtung Untrinkbarkeit.

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2016 0.33 l bottle from local LIDL as ’Perlenbacher Maltos Paradiso Zwickl’, best before March 2017. Hazy, brownish yellow with a thin, dense, almost stable, white head. Faint, sweetish, slightly grassy and minimally fruity aroma of hay, some vanilla and hints of pear. Sweetish, slightly fruity, a bit yeasty and minimally grassy taste of hay, pear, some citrus, vanilla, a touch of honey and slight hints of cardboard, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately grassy and a little yeasty finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite nice actually, even some fruity-grassy hops are detectable.

ALIBALI (2316) - Kiel, GERMANY - SEP 23, 2016

Blueshawk (465) - Bad Bellingen, GERMANY - SEP 8, 2016

Courtesy of Jaghana. "maltos paradiso". Couleur jaune trouble, bonne mousse.

jawe (40) - Berlin, GERMANY - AUG 12, 2016
Golden colored with a small white head. Aroma of dry grass and malt. Tastes of grain and quite fruity orange. Easy drinkable. Surprisingly good for a Eichbaum.

Had this as Perlenbacher Maltos Paradiso Zwickl. Thanks to my wife for bringing this home. Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty, modest hoppy-dry, more and more metallically. Mild sourish background. Finish could be more balanced. Okay.
