courtesy of Philipp and Thomas - hazy reddish-amber beer with a poor head retention; fairly smoky with notes of red fruits and hints of nougat; full-bodied, some sweetness, gently grainy and with a long well-integrated smokiness; more notes of red fruits in the finish; quite bitter - pretty nice 16erBlech (526) - Burgenland, AUSTRIA - AUG 12, 2015
0,33l bottle out of Craftbeerbox. Drinking smoked beer is like eating bacon for me. In this case the smoky touch is just medium, not too intensive. But leave the smoke away and you have a quite ordinary beer. Cant taste much of the aroma hops.

Copper-brown, moderate hazy body, with a small, frothy, light beige head.
Aroma of smoke, tea, caramel, dark fruits, some dried fruits, slight roast.
Tastes of smoke, caramel, dark berries, honey, some hops, some tea notes, some roastiness.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes smooth, smokey, a bit bitter, sweet malty, a bit fruity, a bit hoppy
Very nice. The smoke isn’t too dominant and leaves room for interesting, smooth fruit and malt notes. Drinks pretty easy, the ABV isn’t noticeable. Overall a greatly balanced, characterful smoked beer.
Bottle. Brown body with white head. Aroma is slightly sour with some smoke some and some caramel and hints of coffee. Taste is smoke with coffee and caramel. Aftertaste is medium bitter with smoke and malts and some bitterness. A little bit thin for the ABV Werckmeister (3328) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - JUN 1, 2015
bottle at home as part of Culturbrauer Craft Beer Box. redish / brown light hazy color. small white head. smells smoked, bacon, milky. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. taste of bacon, light smoke, citric notes, dried fruits in background, some herbal / citric bitterness is also apparent, some malt roast. light bacon and citric notes on the finish. quite interesting, not as creamy as other smoked beers, but the citric notes and the malty roast notes give an interesting contrast. I like it, gets better the more you drink. For the ABV it drinks quite easy.
