UPDATED: DEC 10, 2017 Pours a clear copper color with an off white head. Some lacing sticking to the glass as it recedes. Aromas of sweet tropical fruits, some herbal notes, light sweet malts. Taste isn’t really doing it for me. Some light fruit and sweet malts underneath a sharp bitterness. Medium bodied; average+ carbonation; sharp, bitter, and drying finish.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2017 On draft at iTap KC. Aroma 7 /10: malty and slightly sweet apple esters Appearance 3 /5: clear amber with it white frothy head Palate 3 /5: medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly malty and sweet finish Taste 7 /10: bitter, grassy hops with a touch of fruit esters - I taste apple here. Finish is on the slightly sweet and malty end with a hint of metallic aftertaste. Overall 15/20: it is hard for me to identify exactly what I don't like that much about this beer. It tastes like a more traditional ipa/DIPA but not robust enough to count as that. Final: 3.5

12oz can (Courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Shaker at 47°. Color is a hazy orange gold with light carbonation and a small tight white head. Aroma is caramel and apple cider. It has a medium body with a crisp mouthfeel. Flavor is light malt, a bold bitterness and a touch of citrus. Aftertaste is dry with more citrus that gives a note of orange. Overall its an ok IPA, not even close to what the description makes it out to be. Final note, this can is date PKG 11/15/16 making it almost a year old it's probably much better when it's fresh.

355ml bottle (Alko Arkadia, Helsinki) (6+:3:6+:4:13=3.2++)

Lovely fruity aroma, peachy, some orange. Hazy orange, small head. Medium palate, pleasant carbonation. Very fruity taste - citrussy, orange, but does have some gentle sweet malts to support the hops. Gentle bitterness in the finish. In some ways a pretty generic pale ale, but with no flaws, and it keeps you interested to the bottom of the glass.

Pours amber golden and hazy with an off white head and an aroma of malt and hops. Tastes of earthy floral hops with moderate bitterness and a mild finish. It’s medium bodied with moderate to lively carbonation. Resinous!
