Koelschtrinker (28835) - Brewver-Town, GERMANY - NOV 30, 2011

Bottle 33 cl from Gourmiland in Dagmersellen (CH). Coppery brown with yellowish off-white foam, very fast fleeting. Malted aromas, toffy, fruity, note rancid. To taste it’s not the frenzy, sweet with a trail of bitterness. Rustic beer, hints of apricot, herbs, spice. Miss body, depth. Not of what to warm itself in winter.

Embrouille (2879) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 18, 2008
Bottled. Copper colored. Boring malty aroma with hints of vegetables, honey and cinnamon. Metallic. Mediocre taste. Poor lacework. Sweet malty. Low bitterness. Thanks bov for this beer!

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. (4.8%). Hazy nut brown, small head. Light perfumy nose. Light-medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Flavour of salty rye bread with some apricot. Short salty finish. A pretty decent but simple beer.

Bottled (4.8%, thanks Bov). Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is wooden, some caramel malts as well as some mild herbal things. Flavour is quite much the same. A rather thin brew, but yet also tasty.

jbrus (4986) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - MAY 17, 2007
Bottled, label said 4.8% ABV. Aroma of malts, caramel and bread. Light brown color, beige head, good lace, light hazy. Caramel, bit malty, light bitterness. Flat, bit thin, very onedimensional. What type of beer is this supposed to be. To me it was in between a Vienna and a thin Dunkel Bock. But not a Spice/Herb/Vegetable beer. Thank you Savad for sharing this with me.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2004 dark reddish-brown colour, big creamy head, malty aroma with strong notes of cinnamon, smooth and medium-bodied, dry and light fruity finish - lacking of character and a bit artificial

Clean amber color. Quite nice malt and caramel aroma, spicy (cinnamon). Similar to the Dunkles (too say, quite simple), but with some more malt and caramel, and some spices. Pleasant, but too easy for my taste.
