Inspired by Mesopotamian civilization - 7,000 years ago - and their fermented bread, we worked over 1 year in development to go back to the future and collide the "old world" with the "new world" !

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2024 I spotted this 33 cl bottle at a small shop near our hotel in Brussels. On a tour we stood across the street from the BBP brewery, couldn't go in because it was closed. So I came home with this beer to try. I have a tulip glass in place for the pour, reddish brown in color with a slender cover of parchment foam. The smell is malty and grainy. I lift the glass to take a drink. Scorched malt, biscuits, a piney bitterness, a touch of sweetness and perhaps a bit of citrus. Dense, a substantial feel. I have not tried many in the style but this is the best one. And I do like the stand-out label.

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2024 Almost clear dark-amber pour with off-white head, retaining and lacing well. Aroma is indeed biscuits and roasted malts, earthy hops. Taste is accordingly, toast malts, bit caramel, but also clear hop bitterness, that grows towards the finish and long aftertaste. Firm carbo and good bite. A really nice IPA, with a clear character and firm hop bitterness, and well according their goals.

Röstaromen stehen hier schon hinten an.
